February 2021: Month of the Sith Prediction

It is the early morning of January 31st, 2021.

In February 2017, the addition of Darth Nihilus shook Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes to the core. A marquee character that could help complete Galactic War as a Sith lead, it also heralded the chance for other characters removed from Star Wars canon to re-emerge.

While we haven’t gotten any other monumental Sith in Februaries-the Sith raid came out in March 2018-since, that particular one marked it with the moniker, causing conspiracy theorists (such as myself) to spin their wheels every January.

Coincidentally, a lot of chat has gone on that Ship Arena has gotten very stale, and as a conspiracy theorist myself, my belief is this: in February, we will be getting a new Sith Capital Ship.

What makes me believe this? Who will be the Fleet Commander? Will it be meta? Why, I’m glad you asked…

There are a few options, both in-game and out. The most likely in-game suspects are:

  1. Darth Nihilus (The Ravager, KOTOR 2)
  2. Darth Malak (The Leviathan, KOTOR)
  3. Darth Revan (Also the Leviathan)

Now, while most of these would make sense as they canonically have relevance, we all know the tactics of Capital Games. There would be little to no money in using any of the above characters-most players already have the incentive to bring each of them to relic 7. Which is why in my insane belief, the most likely new fleet commander would be Enric Pryde (The Steadfast, The Rise of Skywalker).

While Pryde served only a minimal role in the films, his potential as a fleet commander is unrivaled in this situation. His steadfast service to Palpatine (he was the only person to serve the Galactic Empire, the First Order, and the Final Order), as well as the fact that he would be a great new bump in sales for CG, makes him the most likely one to lead a Sith fleet.

Pryde himself would be a new marquee character with First Order and Sith tags, as well as his Capital Ship. The five Sith ships we currently possess (TIE Advanced x1, Emperor’s Shuttle, Scimitar, B-28 Extinction Bomber, and Sith Fighter) will be brought to the forefront of relevance and drastically change the current fleet meta, and likely make use of the limited First Order/Empire synergy with ships as well.

I hope your Sith ships are ready!
